‘Bites on My Neck’ by yeule is my Below Radar SOTY; Black Country, New Road has us thinking of Christmas; Hurray for the Riff Raff has us contemplating ‘LIFE ON EARTH,’ and Grace Ives is an ‘Angel Of Business’

The best music, from a critical perspective, comes from Below Radar artists. Of course, this is my opinion as someone who is constantly trying to refine what “best” means. In the three years that I’ve been doing this, I have always found this cohort of artistry the most developed, intricate and from a critical perspective, unique.
Black Country, New Road’s “Snow Globes,” Hurray for the Riff Raff’s “LIFE ON EARTH,” Grace Ives’ “Angel of Business,” and of course, yeule’s “Bites on My Neck,” are just a few examples of why this cohort, which lists artists with between 100K-1M Monthly Listens on Spotify, is so special.
I hope y’all find enjoyment and awe-inspiring love from these songs. It’s been such a pleasure talking about this group and look forward to next year’s Below Radar treasures!
