March released enough albums, especially among the biggest artists, to fill an entire year.
Beyonce, Kacey Musgraves, Ariana Grande, Tierra Whack, Waxahatchee, Faye Webster and Norah Jones are the seven artists whose albums I fell in love with from my 1+ Million Listeners category this month… add to that Mannequin Pussy, Julia Holter, Adrianne Lenker, Future & Metro Boomin, Shakira and several others… well, it shows how much depth March had.
Whereas January and February felt like dipping our toes in the water, March’s 5 New Music Fridays have sort of launched us full into 2024.
Taylor Swift is coming in April, so there is no turning back after that lol.
I’m always so interested to see if a stellar month of new music can be “followed up.” Well, I guess we’ll see soon enough.
